Sean Saunders

Sean brings ten years of experience at venture-backed startups and venture firms in the life sciences and enterprise software sectors to Kineo. 

Before joining the team, Sean was an Associate at Boulder Ventures and VU Venture Partners, where he focused on sourcing and performing due diligence on early stage deals in the life sciences, climate tech, and enterprise software sectors. Prior to that, he was an early sales team member at rapidly scaling, venture-backed firms like Grafana Labs, Tenfold (acquired by LivePerson), and MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB), where he sold enterprise software solutions as a pre-seed through pre-IPO employee to multinational and Fortune 100 clients. His first introduction to venture-backed business was at Genentech where he worked prior to returning to Tulane for his M.S. in Neuroscience. 

Sean holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson (Los Angeles, CA) with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Finance. He also holds an M.S. in Neuroscience and a B.S. in Neuroscience and Legal Studies from Tulane University (New Orleans, LA).
